Awesome | Advance Women Entrepreneurs

The AWESOME Program supports women who own food processing companies in Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. We provide start-up and growth services through one-on-one and group business development education.

AWESOME is an initiative of the Saskatchewan Food Industry Development Centre (Food Centre - www.foodcentre.sk.ca), and is funded by Western Economic Diversification Canada through the Women Entrepreneurship Strategy Ecosystem Fund. The Food Centre provides product development and production support for agri-food businesses. The Food Centre is an industry leader, providing a wide-range of services designed to advance the food sector in North America. Amanda was part of the 1st cohort in the Accelerator Program in 2020.

AWESOME launched the Achievement Awards to highlight the accomplishments and impact of women in the food & beverage manufacturing sector in the Canadian Prairies. 

The recipients of the AWESOME Achievement Awards are examples of women who are ambitious, creative and resilient. They achieve their business goals with boundless enthusiasm and skill. Amanda Lynn was recognized and awarded as 2022 recipient! Amanda attended the first Awesome conference to receive the award as well as speak on a panel at the event.
